ARTIST STATEMENT

My artwork aims to create a new narrative surrounding the concept of money, using visual storytelling to motivate and raise awareness about the importance of financial education. Through vibrant illustrations, I depict money spreading gestures as a powerful symbol of empowerment and knowledge.

By portraying these gestures, I seek to challenge traditional perceptions and spark conversations about personal finance, encouraging viewers to explore the possibilities and potential that come with financial literacy. Through my art, I hope to inspire individuals to take control of their financial well-being, to break free from the constraints of financial insecurity, and to embrace a more informed and empowered relationship with money.

Drawing upon a range of artistic techniques and mediums, I strive to create engaging and thought-provoking pieces that capture the attention and curiosity of viewers. Each artwork is a visual invitation to delve into the world of financial education, encouraging individuals to learn, ask questions, and seek guidance on their own financial journeys.

Ultimately, my goal is to foster a positive and inclusive dialogue around money, transforming it from a source of stress and anxiety into a catalyst for personal growth and empowerment. By illustrating money spreading gestures in my artwork, I aim to inspire a new generation to embrace financial education, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to navigate the complexities of the modern financial landscape.

In the mural above, I abbreviate the 5 factors that determine the FICO credit score: P.U.A.M.I, Payment history, Utilization, Age, Mixture of credit, and Inquiries. Within the visible bill on the right, an equation FICO=300-850 is shown, 300 representing the lowest score and 850 representing the highest score.
